The look of the front instantly conveys a sense of power and agility – take the wide radiator grille with its three bright silver louvres, distinctive chrome strips and the dominant star set in the centre. A chrome strip leading all the way around the vehicle body emphasizes the sleek lines of the new C-Class. Eye-catching touches include a polished aluminium shoulderline trim strip as well as the chrome handle strip on the rear. There, the toned tail lights round off the distinctive finish of the C-Class AVANTGARDE.

Contrasting colours and materials lend the interior its sporty character. The floor, dashboard and, optionally, the roof lining are black while the door centre panels and door armrests are black or alpaca grey. Finely textured aluminium trim elements emphasise the clean, sporty look. Wood trim elements in black bird’s-eye maple are available as an option. The seats are distinguished by horizontal stitching and are upholstered as standard in a Liverpool fabric/ARTICO man-made leather combination in black or alpaca grey. Two-tone leather upholstery in which the door centre panel too, for example, features a black/sahara-beige or black/cognac-brown combination is also available as an option, further accentuating the overall look.
