The AIRMATIC package adjusts the vehicle's damping characteristics to the conditions of the road surface. And enables more dynamism at high speeds.

In combination with the ADS PLUS Adaptive Damping System, the air suspension delivers excellent road roar and tyre vibration characteristics and outstanding driving dynamics to the road or the track. The damping at each wheel is adapted to the current driving situation.

The settings "Comfort", "Sport" and "Sport +" allow the driver to choose between the AIRMATIC package's comfortable and sporty character. At high speeds, the vehicle is lowered, to reduce wind resistance and further increase stability.

For the GLE 400 4MATIC only available as optional equipment.

If the vehicle is used by several persons, this package offers particular convenience. Up to three different positions for the power-adjustable front seats, steering column and exterior mirrors can be stored at the touch of a button and retrieved. The package also assists when parking.

When reverse gear is engaged, the passenger-side exterior mirror automatically lowers to provide the driver a better overview. When reverse gear is disengaged again, the mirror pivots back to its original position.

Make parking easy on yourself and keep everything in sight all the time. The Parking package includes Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC as well as a 360-degree camera for a realistic all-round view.

Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC makes finding a parking space easier, as well as parking and exiting both parallel spaces or car park spaces. It automatically steers the vehicle into parking spaces and frees the driver from having to steer and brake. 

The 360° camera provides you with a realistic all-round view thanks to the interaction of four cameras. The vehicle and its surroundings can be shown in a bird's-eye view on the COMAND Online display, and obstacles below the window line are also made visible to the driver. 

The system is automatically activated when you engage reverse. Or you can also activate the camera manually.

City traffic is full of problems. Narrow streets, lack of parking spaces, these things are daily challenges – for every driver. It can thus be very helpful if a vehicle can make itself narrower.

Both exterior mirrors can be power-adjusted and -folded at the push of a button to protect the mirror housing against damage, for instance when parking. For improved vision and visibility the exterior mirror on the driver's side and the interior mirror automatically dim steplessly.
